We make a life by what we give.” with this Winston Churchill’s quote, every one of us should look forward to lighten up one’s life by contributing something special in order to lighten up others’ lives. Hence joy of giving week that happens every year also reflects on same motive.
Oct 2nd to 9th is considered the joy of giving week. It is the time when the entire world gets together to celebrate the joy of giving. Everyone takes part by making the underprivileged feel special by giving them lovely gifts. Srishti never lets itself go behind when it comes to making people happy. Hence Srishti decided to celebrate the joy of giving week by bringing smiles on their housekeeper’s faces.
Last week Srishti celebrated joy of giving with great enthusiasm and pleasure. The event lasted for more than a week and the employees actively participated in contributing gifts of their choice to their favorite housekeepers.
The gift cartons were decorated with colorful gift wrappers that were placed near the lobby of the company. Each gift cartons was badged with a housekeeper’s name and picture and the employees were asked to drop their choice of gifts into the gift-cartons of their favorite housekeepers. It was delightful to see employees participate by contributing loads of gifts like chocolates, eateries, toiletries, wristwatches, wall clocks and lump-sum amount of cash ranging up to five thousand. The employees’ generous contribution not only brought smiles among our housekeepers but won the hearts of everybody for their generous love, care and affection. It was indeed a pleasure to see joy fill across our office and the entire week brought complete happiness to everyone.
