PARAS LIS enables the maintenance of investigation requests, directly taking test orders from other modules (consultant, ward etc). After performing requested tests, its updated test results are made available to the doctors instantly over their screens. Also reports are generated to view overall statistics. PARAS LIS also provides the facility of interfacing with Lab equipment. For one stop billing, laboratory module is integrated with billing system module.
PARAS Laboratory Information Management System is also capable of getting itself interfaced with the available lab equipments. The messaging protocol should be HL7 therefore we recommend HL7 compliance lab equipment to be in place.
